Barney my sometimes nippy grey, who only steps up on his terms completely changes his mood when he's sung to, he steps up and just want to be right in your face but as soon as the music stops he becomes his old Barney self. Does anyone else have this same thing happen

I did with Jayde! But with her, it was more a comfort thing and *love* being talked to rather than she didn't want to. When she first got here, I couldn't handle her. Then she started stepping up on my shoulders, very hesitantly. If she wouldn't get up, I had to 'butter' her up some before she'd climb aboard. Then she got comfortable with that. Next was getting her to step up onto my hands and arms. Again, more buttering her up and she would decide to then climb aboard. Now she's ok with stepping up as well! :)
