I was asked to photograph some parrots for my favorite parrot shop. The parrots I was asked to photograph were Greys; but not just 'normal' Greys there were two types of greys. This is a Cameroon Grey which is supposedly a lot larger than the Congo and Timneh species. This guy is still so young that he was learning to "step-up" and was still kinda unsteady with perching (look at his feet just hanging on for dear life) and already weighed over 400 g. He's going to be a big boy.

The OTHER grey, who wasn't there, was one of the ALL RED African Grey that we talked about here: http://www.parrotforums.com/congo-timneh-greys/3935-all-red-african-grey.html I have been promised a shot at photographing this bird (as this shot of the Cameroon earned me the right to photograph the All-Red ...) I know that we were split on the "ethics" of the AR Grey; but I can't turn down the chance to photograph that bird. When I get those pictures I will post them here.

The owner of the shop is doing a story with photos (mine, to be exact) to submit to Bird Talk Magazine in the future ... I'm kinda excited as it will be my THIRD NATIONAL PUBLICATION that I've had my images (with my photo credits) in.
