Just read an article in a magazine (in South Africa) what happened to a couple, their parrot and cat.

The house next door had just been fumigated before the new neighbors moved in.

The following morning at 3am, they awoke feeling ill, feeling nauseous and started vomiting. They thought is was some kind of a gastric flu.

They they noticed their cat lying on the floor, struggling to breath.
Their parrot was screaming and raving.
They rushed the cat to a 24 hour vet, unfortunately the cat died.
Somehow the coupe and the parrot survived, this unfortunate tragedy.
For the next two weeks, the couple felt ill continuously.

Apparently they should have been given a formal notice, to vacate their premises. The company didn't do this. They were very apologetic, and offered to pay the vet, and their medical expenses.

This is scary, as it was not even their house that was fumigated.

That's scary, as I live in the city now; meaning more pests.

I sure hope my neighbors wouldn't do this! Does anybody know how I would go about with preventing this?

I guess we should be friendly, and on good terms with all our neighbors. LoL my neighbors all love Mishka (me to I hope).

After reading the article yesterday, I chatted to my neighbors,
who had read the article as well.
Now everyone in our complex is aware of the dangers of pest control.
