The following was sent to me from my bird club:
Missing Hahn's Macaw.
His name is Pedro and his hatch date is 2001. I don't have his band info but it was a Maryland band.
He is not very tame but will step up to a stick perch or finger if he is on the ground. He will not let anyone pet him. He'll draw blood. Pedro is molting and has a lot of pin feathers on his head.
He has no unusual markings, just the standard Hahns colors. He escaped on 5-15-10 approx 10am when my son was bringing him to his play stand. He was last heard at dusk on 5-15-10 in a tree in my yard.
