Adopt or buy? I have heard alot of good about this aviary. Babies prices are good for the area.

At first glance they look really good. Pity you live so far away (although i'm much further lol), it would be great if you could go see for yourself what they are like (yeehaa road trip!).

I spose regardless of what they are like, are you comfortable with shipping your new baby on an plane? They do outline the shipping details in full which is comforting. The breeder I drove to, to pick Eddie up lived an hour away, and I thought THAT was a big trip for baby bird.

Anyway, what bird are you looking into?

Both awesome birds (although which birds aren't). I looked into the mini macaws when I was bird hunting 4 years ago. I think they are amazing. When I went to pick Eddie up, the breeder had some hahns macaws in one of his aviaries - Eddie is lucky he has such a cute face, or I might have taken one of them home instead :p

Personally I do not believe in shipping birds. It just adds stress to an already stressful event of a new home and guardian. Have you checked out any local breeders of the parrots you are seeking? If you do not mind getting a baby parrot shipped to you then there are lots of good breeders and I will give you another one for greys.
