Was sold a BFA and now found he is a OWA.."Gus"
Today, I adopted my daughter's Amazon parrot...DNA proven male "Sam".
Gus, my OW Amazon and Sam, African Grey..becoming good pals!! Sam used to try to feed me (he was regurgitating for me) ...today he and Gus shared food (regurgitating)...will this make them bond and not want me? Sam is DNA confirmed male, Gus is male but not DNA confirmed....love my boys!!

Yellow-naped Amazon "Sammy"
Love birds (4)
Green-cheeked Conure "Skittles" - now, sadly gone from my life
Blue-Crowned Conure "Tequila"
African Grey "Reno" - sadly, now gone from my life
Wonderful! I have a yellow-naped and a newly-acquired grey, and I'm hoping they, too, will become buddies. One of our young lovebirds (sadly he didn't survive) became fast friends with our green-cheek Conure, including mutual feeding, preening etc. It's amazing how well they form a flock, even from completely different species.
