Today was Willow's first spray bath. I know, I know no pictures but I couldn't hold her, spray her and take pics.:p
I am pretty happy though she didn't like it or tolerate it she LOVED it. She was so adorable flapping and trying to lick the water from the air.

I was concerned as some Greys aren't crazy about baths but they happen really frequently around here (every other day) and sometimes every day so I knew it was something that if she didn't care for it she would have to put up with it but if her behavior today was an indicator we should have no issues.:D

Thank you I will try to figure out a way to take pics next time. When I did it today I didn't want to put her on the shower perch because I was unsure of how she would respond. I held her on one hand with my thumb over one foot holding her in place in case she freaked. The spray bottle in the other hand and while I can actually do a ton of stuff with my feet, picture taking isn't one of them.:54:
(I know, weird according to my husband, he still is amazed after 20 yrs with what I can pick up and do with my feet.);)

Excellent timing, Laura! I was about to beg you for a Willow update. Good news that she likes her baths.

Mine, for example... HATES bathing.

After more than a decade of we do this every week, he will step up for me without protest... but he is NOT happy about it at all. In fact, his face turns red and you can see the steam coming out his ear holes...

For awhile I tried to teach him the "I'M MELTING! MELTING! MELTING!" thing from the Wizard of Oz... when bathing. If it isn't going to be pleasant, it can at least be humerus.

Mark I may have to steal that idea. The Wizard of Oz was always a looked forward to event in my house each year. I would make a big batch of popcorn and the boys and I would sing all the songs. I know pretty much the whole movie by heart. Sometimes my boys weren't amused like when they would do something not very smart with their friends and I would ground them and sing "If I only had a brain" daily!:p

No matter where we have lived even renting I would plant poppies and once they bloom I am incapable of seeing them without saying "Poppies..poppies will put you to sleep..sleep".

The line I would change that ALWAYS left my son's laughing even when grounded and I hope I can say this on here.. My balls I'd be scratching while my thoughts were busy hatching, if I only had a brain. :p I did have two boys after all.

:D

With some of the stunts my friends and I pulled... [Yeah, right, like that's PAST tense...] You'd probably get tired of singing that song.

HOWEVER, IT DOES GIVE ME IDEAS FOR THE NEXT TIME I'M SITTING NEXT TO A NERVOUS NEWBIE ON A SKYDIVING JUMP PLANE... :D

Have to work on the lyrics a little...

Great to hear Willow loves baths! As frequent as they are at your place, it's a good thing she doesn't find it torturous lol!
