Espresso is finally getting into the nitty gritty of her molt! She's lost a few of her clipped primaries and stress-barred tail feathers and she's just dropping feathers all over the place :D. Fingers crossed that she'll be able to get some lift when her new primaries come in!! She has an old wing injury from being attacked by a machete that might prevent her from ever flying properly and she'll probably get a light clip eventually but anything is better than the hack job that she had before! :grey:. Poor girl has been through so much so it's really wonderful to be able to put one more part of it behind us.

What's everyone's favorite flight harness?

Have a foodie beak picture as a thanks for being such a wonderful community! :07:

Congrats, Sr. Member! :)

Espresso looks adorable with her food face! She's such a beautiful girl!

I'm sorry Espresso had to suffer so much before meeting you, but I'm thrilled that you found each other.

Thank you Alee! I'm so proud of her for overcoming so much! Hopefully we keep moving forward. Check out her wicked stress bars! I am astonished she made it out with only a bit of feather barbering and not completely bald.

Poor girl, it really is amazing she isn't a habitual plucker after all she's been through, greys are so intelligent and so sensitive. I think she will continue to thrive and move forward in her new home.
