I spent a bit of time with Jasper. I talk him out of his cage when I get home from work. I'm working on getting him to step up every time I ask, not just when he wants. He generally gets worked up courting me in about 5 minutes. I stop, walk away and let him calm down, then go back to him. If I try anything when he's lovesick, he doesn't really pay attention. Often our conversations lead to him putting his head down to be petted but then he does the bait and switch and nibbles my fingers trying to regurgitate. I went into the kitchen to make me a drink (very sad day at school), he flew into the kitchen. We hung out while I was making my drink. I thought that once my natural born children were older, I could finally get glass glasses. Apparently not, I was going to share a glass of water with Jasper but he was more interested in the glass itself. Anyway, The Progress....he let me pet him without the bait and switch. A few times today... This is happening much faster than I had thought.

Hope your day goes better tomorrow! Sounds like you and JAsper are doing great to me. I'm still pretty new at this. Definitely careful with the glass Timneh can surge forward and strike some items with amazing speed and force. She attacks her ball, and paper towel tubes with some real zeal. She has a great time taking em down and throwing out of her house.
