The life and times of Nigel the Great

I thought I'd follow suit with the famous Rickeybird and Salty and give Nigel his own thread. Here goes with today's antics (usually there are many but I'll try to keep it to one):

Nigel is currently a bit cross as he's inside his cage. He is usually out all day but because all doors are open (people in an out today our office is at home) it's safer to keep him in the cage until all busy-ness subsides. He doesn't mind all the people, he's ok with movement, he just doesn't like being told what to do.

He's already been out for four hours and I'll let him out in the evening for several hours so he will have to get over his disappointment.

He's been complaining bitterly. As I was walking by eating apple slices, he put his foot out asking for a piece which I, as his humble servant, gave to him. Complaining all the while, he stopped and said, "Thank you." Then he promptly carried on telling the world how unjust life has been to him today.

He chomped on the apple anyway.

I have a sneaking feeling this is going to be a Thread brimming the 'High Hat Social Elite' with just enough behind closed door scandals to to keep us coming back for more!

Welcome "Nigel The Great" may we be worthy!

Note: The Snobs Are Watching and secretly planning and playing behind the same closed doors! :D

Lord Nigel? Or Sir Nigel? The Grey Govena'? Wait, he's an African grey... Chief Nigel? Headman? Surely he has a proper title.

Of course being in Africa and being a CAG, Nigel is the Head Chief...

Looking down his beak at all of us, as usual.

Nigel's the kind of bird who keeps The New Yorker on the coffee table but looks at naughty pictures online. Hens in leather harnesses. Hens in little hand-cuff leg-bands. Stuff like that.

Tonight he asked "What's this?" When I gave him a new veggie in his dinner.

Sorry, so sorry to throw you off your groove your majesty.

He didn't throw it at you.

Mmm-hmmm.

In-grate servant. You're lucky to keep your job.

Oh yeah, and that popcorn all over the floor? You should sweep that up before my next set of admirers arrive.

ROFLMAO! Extra text required to meet ten character minimum. Nigel's doing, no doubt. Probably siphons off the extra letters into some vocabulary slush fund.
