Baby Grey Day

I had a phone call today from the lady that I got Bucc from and she's got some baby greys, they are 5 weeks old, so not quite ready to leave her. I am going to go see them on Monday and hopefully my Baby will come and pick me. If so then I will be bringing him home when he is on 2-3 feeds a day and I'll wean him myself. :jumping40

If its 3 feeds a day then it will be toward the later part of his 3 feedings, as he is getting ready to go onto 2 feedings. I wouldn't want to take on one any younger than that, as there are far too many things that could go wrong. I'm confident 2 a day. At the moment I'm so excited, she is going to let me have the pick and she will also get them sexed for me. I'll have to let you know how I get on after I've seen them. Also a factor what price she will do for me. :D

I think my next bird will probably be a parakeet or parralet when I move and have more space and Sidney gets an upgrade several years down the road I know I want either a lilac crowned amazon or a blue and gold macaw but that's about 5+ years down the road. you just can't stop Anyways I am perfectly happy with Sidney right now - He's all I want for the time being
and to you folks in Australia Sidney says happy Australia day too !:)

O that is fantastic news! Im so jealous, i also want a grey now! Everyone has one, and i also want a cuddly big bird! Kodie isnt the cuddle type because of that special hair on his head, but im still crazy about him. He is really getting cute now. Good luck, remember PICS!!!:D

*crosses arms across chest and starts to pout*

But I want a baby grey ... and Peta the only reason I would think of you as a super idiot is because you aren't getting me one of those weanlings ... Oh well, I can't have one right now and I will just have to wait and spoil MY GREY all that much more when I get one.

Peta, I am very happy for you!! Not to mention jealous, but knowing that this baby will have such a great home makes me very happy! :D :D

Now, I will meet you at the airport, all you have to do is get another little guy over here and ....

Tell ya what Tex, they have 3 babies there at the moment, so what if I was to smuggle the other two up my Jumper and make my way straight to the airport, I'll see what I can do for ya. :D

I'm just hoping that she doesn't overprice them, which seems to happen here this time of year. I'll let ya know.
