She sure loves to play. She was zooming all around the house tonight and by the time she got back to her house I could see her chest taking big breaths. Such great exercise for them to be able to fly around. She's not happy unless she's used up a good portion of her energy by bedtime that's for sure. We were rough housing more but I had to tone it back a little she was getting really good at knuckle busting I call it. She found the sweet spots on my joints and with little effort could crumple me. She's been really good knock on wood about not doing it anymore. She said can't break the skin no problem I'm still going to win this game.

Timneh is becoming a little ninja as she gets more and more used to her wings. She slides down sections of her house like a surfer.

It is so enjoyable watching them discover new abilities with flight and balance as their muscle mass continues to tone-up. Also as their strength builds so does their confidants and that's when they start hanging from your finger with one claw and playing King of the Mountain, but fully missing the fact that happens to be you. Such a display of trust! Just heartwarming!

Enjoy!

As great as it is to watch them play to their hearts content I am always nervous that Perjo will fall and land wrong. It's the risk I took when I got her I guess.

Hi Billdore,

I see you always refer to her as Timneh. Is that her name?

I’m glad she’s having a blast, so good for her and you. :)

Great news that Timneh loves to play and even better to hear she loves to fly around the house, please keep up the encouragement and make this fly by part of everyday as this is one thing that can help keep her in good health. :)

Yes Timneh is her name. I probably should of changed it but she had been called Timneh for over a year and a half. Her first owners didn't find her very friendly and never really gave her a name just Timneh. So I've been calling her Timneh for a year now. I actually don't know if Timnehs a she either. lol she's on the smaller end of the scale at 303 so I picked one. I actually have the little kit to have her DNA tested but I couldn't bring myself to pull any feathers yet. I'm was actually thinking the other day Timneh might be one of the boys. I really don't care either way. It would've nice to know in case of egg laying but that's about it. I love my Timneh the Timneh.
