My friend from another province came up and spent the weekend with us, I have not seen her for almost 8 years. We have know each other for almost 20 years.
Ronnie knew I had a parrot, but has never asked or commented even after seeing some of her video's on Facebook. Has never had an interest in birds until....................................
The entire weekend, she sat near Mishka's cage, played with her and chatted to her. They bonded beautifully in such a short time.
I had to force her out the door to go to church, she did not want to leave Mishka behind. After church she was rushing, asked her why, Mishka is waiting for us, was her reply. We sat in the lounge the entire afternoon, just listening and talking to Mishka. Ronnie was most impressed when Mishka started imitating her laugh. Ronnie wanted to know if Mishka understood what she was saying. I asked Mishka some questions, and she replied back correctly. Mishka eventually started answering questions Ronnie was asking her.
I have never in my life seen someone so intrigued with a bird.
Ronnie later fed Mishka, gave each other high 5 and kisses.
Ronnie said she never knew how much fun and how much pleasure a bird can give.
Ronnie later chatted to her hubby on Skype, never mentioned us at all it was just Mishka Mishka Mishka.
Marie-Louise her daughter came to pick Ronnie up, Ronnie calls Marie-Louise Nunksi, Mishka loved the sounds of it and started repeating it over and over again.The feel in love with her,
They stayed an extra 4 hours WITH MISHKA
