Hello again ;)

well since I am ordering a new cage, I may as well update some stuff!
He def. needs his nails clipped and I will take him to my local AV for that, but wondered what stuff you use in the cages for keeping the beak trim and nails trim.
He could do with a new swing too.

There are so many places sell parrot stuff inc. ebay, and they all vary in postage (I hate paying postage) and also costs.

Just wondered where you all buy from online:cool:

Ebay lol!

There are some good deals when you consider Pets At Home prices for the actual toy costs more than a better quality toy and postage! :D

I also make some too....many people do. There's a do it yourself section on this forum with some great ideas. I put one in as well which was a hit with Cal and Linky actually did it too and her bird Sterrejie loved them too!

Edit: I forgot to add....my girl LOVES her natural branch perches! She has a huge one for her huge cage and a dinky one for her smaller cage. She does a lot of beak wiping on this lol! Also, mineral stones. I found the Pets at home lava something or other lasts longest! Cal grinds her beak over it daily :D

thanks Von will have a look :orange:

I haven't seen mineral stone in Pets at home, is it in the Bird section? How do you attach to the cage?

The mineral stones are in the bird section and they come with fixings!

Also, forgot to mention.....the doggie section is great for natural rope toys that you can hang up for chewing and also the small animal section! Plenty wood and stainless steel toys just ripe for chewing! :D

thanks Von I had a quick look last night instore but the minera stone was quite small and had what looked like a thread to hang it up? decided that wouldn't last long haha, having a look online today. I have done an order on Northern Parrots (or is it 24parrots?) for toys and a java branch, so nearly there! Am trying to find the best kind of nail trimming perches? x:grey::green2:

heh, did they not have the bigger ones for AG's? There are many available it's just I found that's the one Cal got on best with!

I think natural branches are good for Cal's nails, but you can buy ones that are some sort of "groomer". They work on a similar basis to the sandpaper ones you can get for budgies. I saw them at Pets at Home......just can't think of the name! Argh! lol
