I wanted her to come hang out with me so I annoyed her till she finally gave in and stepped up. Good thing I have such a good natured Timneh. Lol. I also couldn’t tell but there might of been a couple new scrape marks on the curtain rod. She had done that thing where she gently pushed my finger away someone had mentioned on a thread a couple of days ago. I couldn’t get her to do it again though. Guess she figured I should of gotten the point. And another video of Timneh flying almost straight up. She actually lost another feather that was clipped when I got her the other day. Really taking some time to replace them all over a year and a half.

Great video's Bill.

She clearly wanted to stay on the curtain rods. And, that take-off clearly showed her ability to create that pocket of air under her for the near vertical lift. She must be getting fairly close to have a full set of wing feathers.

Regrowing 'clipped' Flight Feather is kind of like waiting for a tea pot to boil. Sometimes it just seem like forever.

Sure does seem like a long time a lot of work goes into those feathers amazes me she makes them when one falls out. She just stole a chip from my plate I got most of it back but the part that broke in her mouth she took a good long time to eat. gonna have to watch out for sure now that shes had her first taste of potato chips. you know what they say about only being able to eat just 1.

Timneh has been super patient with me from the beginning. I got really lucky. Especially since her first owners said she was t friendly. I’d say you’d be hard pressed to a Timneh that’s as friendly as Timneh to me. Last night she let one of my friends have her step up and even let him touch her chest. Your so right Jim I hadn’t even thought of that. Night time snuggle session.

Bill you're a lucky guy with Timneh. I wasn't as fortunate with Smokey
She was a wild-caught to begin with, and even to the day she passed away, she wasn't keen at all about hands. There were a few occasions when she got frightened by something that she would seek out some ones hand to climb onto, but 99% of the time she wanted nothing to do with them.

Timmy even lets you give her skritches :D You hit the jackpot with her when you adopted her Bill...lucky guy! ;)
