Finally got Bella to accept her new perch.
Even though the perch was in plane sight for weeks she would freak when I mounted it inside her cage.

I had a brain storm idea and I mounted the perch on the far side (left) of the cage way down low where I knew she would not set.

After a week in that location I put it in place of the perch she had chewed up and now she is a happy camper on her new Dragonwood perch.

Good one! It's funny how, after a while, ya get an understanding of what makes 'em tick!

But of course, only after it has been proven not to be radioactive and has been placed in a suitably low station in Bella's World would she accept it! This is a moment in history, one that must be keep safe for future use.

Congratulations!

Gale, sorry for posting at the same time!

4 1/2 years old now CAG..got her at 14 weeks...Debbie is still clown! Now almost 4 1/2....never a dull moment!
Our young CAG, Debbie reacts the same way to her new, concrete or shell type perch, she uses it down low, but don’t you dare move it up in the cage...but, I can move here java wood or comfy rope perch anywhere in the cage and no complaints...
