Perjo - Female CAG hatch Nov 2015
So Perjo had some flight feathers that seemed traumatized or something, didn't seem to want to grow back about a year ago. Not sure if she plucked them or chewed them or what, but she wasn't able to fly well.

Well now she flies just fine, feathers are back and look good, and what's funny is now when I sneeze it must startle her because she takes flight and flies and flies until she can't , Lol.

Achoo! and off she goes.

Anyone else's Fid do this b/c of a sneeze?

Bella use to startle easily. Not so much to a sneeze but if she is out of her cage at the same time as my Tiels.

Use to be as soon as a Tiel flew into the room she would take flight as well, now she just sits tight and ducks. My tiels seem to make a game of flying as close to her (at speed) as they can.

Oh I guarantee Perjo will mimic my sneeze perfectly soon. As many of you know they'll mimic the stuff you want them to and the stuff you don't want them to, like that darn Emergency Alert System beep. OMG so obnoxious.

Bella does a double sneeze and a blow of the nose right after.
No matter how many times I say “bless you “ she has not repeated that.

Smokey perfectly mimic'd my moms cough. Not long after I got Smokes,I came home from truckin' and mom was so worried  She said "Oh Jimmy! I think Smokey is sick! she is coughing!" So you know I ran to the living room, hiding myself in hopes of hearing this ( I was pretty much a newbb to parrots then).
Sure 'nuff..Smokers let out a series of coughs  and I ROTFLMBO :D I said "Mom!!?? come here please!!" Well I'm sure y'all know who she was imitating!! And mom was amazed! So was I,actually lol.

And anyone who has now,or who did, have a 'teil..know how those poor kid's get frightened so easily
ANY loud or sudden noise and little Beebs will jump up two feet and spread his arms and fly like a little lunatic screaming his fool head off, flyimg every which way at 200mph!

Luckily he is pretty darn good at it and hasn't crashed in a LONG time! :52:
oh ya I forgot...Smokes learned to SNORE perfectly, from "some one" lol

Quaker parrot, Ralph
When I first got Ralph the QP, my powerful sneezes startled him. If I could tell him ahead of time that I was going to sneeze, he'd just brace himself and wait for the blast. I taught him to imitate my sneezes and now it doesn't bother him when I sneeze without warning. His imitation sneezes are much gentler than mine; Ralph does a delicate little "Choo! Choo!" sound. :D Scooter the CAG just gives me a look when I sneeze that I interpret as "did you have to do that?" :)

So the little **** today decides to imitate my verbal representation of a sneeze. She's been saying "achoo choo" all morning.

LMAO
