Sunny a female B&G macaw;
Japie (m) & Appie (f), both are congo african grey;
All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
why cant she just leave that egg alone?
Oh of course...incubator toy-birds.


Nice compilation of different breeding options :) just a pitty it did not show the parents feeding the babies- it kind of reinforces the silly believe humans need to step in every single time.

Interesting that they kept throwing in a non-African grey into that video (in the hatching section, check out the sizes of the eggs).

Initially I figured the parent bird was just shy and didn’t want to feed in front of the camera, but if she will lay into her hand she would most likely feed no problem.
