We rehomed a 4 year old male CAG on the weekend. I did a 7 hour drive each way to get him.
He has some issues, won't step up while on or in his cage. And his original owner (we're the 3rd and last) would squirt him with a turkey baster of water when he was making noise.
With that, I worked from home today giving him (and Thor the Quaker) lots of attention. I've been able to reach into his cage and give him head rubs and sun flour seeds. And he's been chirping away all day. Not sure what's he's saying, but I do think he's mimicking the sound from Google Home.
Some work todo, with bathing being the biggest one. The previous owner didn't want to give him up, but they ended up being really allergic to the dust.
I have pics, but let me get them up.
And his name, Gandalf. Well he his grey
