My African grey fell off his perch this morning then as I was getting him back up he fell off my hand. I don’t think anything is broken on him. But, he won’t let me get near him and screeches at me now. It’s been a few hours since he fell. Is he just tramatized and will get over it? I’ve had him since March and he’s never done this to me.

Have you taken him to the vet? I know it's Sunday, but I ask because some places have emergency vets that are open on weekends.
I would try to make an appointment for tomorrow if today is not an option, just to figure out the root cause of the fall and make sure he isn't concussed or dealing with an underlying condition.

Do you know what caused him to fall?
How old is your bird and was the cage uncovered at the time of the fall?

I can't give you any advice beside going to the Vet.

I don't think it is a comment for bird to fell off his/her perch while perching.

Hope things get well soon.

He wasn’t in cage he was on a free standing perch. He has fallen before he is very clumsy. He is just over a yer old I have had it 2 1/2 months

He is still young and young birds can be clumsy at times. That having been said, I would not dismiss it. Definitely get him to the vet just to make sure there is nothing underlying that caused the fall and no injuries resulting from the fall.

You were probably bitten because he was scared and shocked, kind of like if someone says "are you okay, are you okay?" right after you injure yourself and all you want to do is scream in their face lol...or is that just me? haha

Also, you guys are still building trust, while young birds tend to be sweeter than mature birds, you haven't had him for very long.

TAKE-AWAY MESSAGE: Get him to the vet ASAP, just to make sure all is well (he may be totally fine, but you need to verify rather than assume).

Also, if you haven't done blood-work, you should consider a CBC at the very least because birds hide illness and sometimes, we have very few indicators (as owners) other than test results.
