I've used QuickClot on my dog and birds with great success.

I recommend Corn Starch. It's cheap and easily available, it's also completely safe and effective. There are styptic powders available, but some birds are prone to chewing/licking the injury and some styptic powders can cause problems if the bird eats it.

Corn starch. As stated above many birds will eat anything you use so it’s important for it to be safe.
