Perjo - Female CAG hatch Nov 2015
I record Perjo a lot and I play it back to her a lot. I’ve noticed that many times she will be quite vocal when she hears her own recording. It’s gotten to the point she actually repeats sounds from the recording in near perfect timing with the recording, as if she remembers it in incredible detail. I’ve started experimenting with this to see just how often and precise she is with mimicking her own recordings.

Anyone else ever notice this with their FID?

First off it's difficult for me to record video of my Bella talking/ She seems camera shy.

In the past I have showed Bella YouTube videos of other African grey's and never shown any interest.... until recently. I think she is going through puberty and is now showing more interest in others of her own kind.

We do this all the time. And Levi also anticipates what is coming next and does it seconds before the video. He loves hearing and seeing himself. :)
