I'm going to paint interior of house. Any suggestions on bird friendly paint & primer? Zero voc low odor?
I've heard of Ecos, yet not sure if retailer who sells it. Once I paint, how long before can bring my Grey back to house? Will board her while painting. Thanks!

Umbrella Cockatoo- 15? years old..I think?
You still want them out of there- even with 0 VOC paint (for at least a few days). Low VOC is NOT safe around birds unless it is given a LONG time to off-gas....Let me call my mom and see what she used when they painted their living room recently...

I haven't been over with the bird (due to quarantine) for a few months, but they used a paint from ACE (0 VOC- by Regal--- NO CLUE if it is safe...but it is 0 VOC and supposedly safer in general). Again-- you do NOT want to use any paint with your bird in the house (in my opinion) for at least a few days---even if it is a 0 - VOC. If it isn't a 0 VOC, you are looking at risks for months and moths, truth be told...I had "low VOC" here (prior to moving in) and I ended up paying for months before actually moving in (with VERY expensive purifiers running) for that reason (and the demon Glad Plug-In smell that was left over from less than a few months of use by the last person).
