Yellow-Sided Green Cheek Conure SOON!

So the day came sooner than I thought!! I am SO excited. I recently finally decided I was going to go through with getting a Parrot. I of course started searching my local Craigslist to adopt an unwanted bird. I found this beautiful Parrot and just fell in love with him just with the picture shown. I emailed the person and asked if there was a way I could work out a payment plan. Guess what?! She thought I was a perfect match for her little guy and told me not to worry about an adoption fee (cage and EVERYTHING). Only catch is that he is a one person Parrot and LOVES to be with her and only her. Reason she is rehoming is because he tries to bite her daughter any chance he gets. I am willing to take the time to get him to love me and be MY parrot. I know it's going to take lots of time and patience but I am sure that I can do it with your help. I can't wait to go pick him up! His name is Apple.

Congrats! That's awesome that you found a bird and that the woman was nice enough to wave the rehoming fee. We actually adopted our bird from cl as well, actually I posted an ad saying I was looking for an IRN or possibly an alexandrine and a woman emailed me about her IRN that needed a new home. She then sent me a picture only for me to inform her that she actually has an alex, lol. Either way, I think it's always better to offer those a home that really need one before going to a breeder, even if it may require a little more work, and blood, on your part. Let us know how everything goes!

Congrats!! Im getting a normal GCC in September

Thank you! I was going to go with a normal 5 month old Creen Cheek that was going for 175, I was going to do payments, pay half then pay the rest weekly. THEN I found this little guy and asked about him, so glad I did. Can't wait to get him home!

AND this is him! This picture was the one on the post and I asked if I could have it, it was sent to me. I can't wait! His name is Apple.




The cage he is residing in and will also be coming home with Apple.
