Yay I got my new birdie!!!!!!

I got a little pineapple girl yesterday!! She is such a sweetheart, and so fun to watch! I have a really long rope perch bent in all different directions in her cage, and she'll go upside down to climb to the bottom . I also walked in on her hanging upside down like a bat (as I've heard mentioned several times lately, but never seen in person). It's been fun watching her explore everything. She is so active and curious! I also love that she's so comfortable with everything. If she's sitting puffed up (not sick, just content) on her perch and I walk up to her, she'll stay puffed up. It's only been one day but she doesn't really get scared by anything except loud sounds (accidentally hit the cage with the rope perch as I was bending it). So far she's just been perfect . Very well-behaved. I'm hoping to see more of her personality as time goes on. She's been pretty quiet since it's only her second day here. She makes some little conure sounds, as if she's trying to talk, but hasn't been at all loud... yet .

Here are two pictures of her, sorry for the bad quality. One was with a low quality mode on my camera (I don't like to use flash and I had bad bad lighting because it was at night). The other was with my ipod, but at least the lighting was good . It shows her true colors lol! I love how bright her chest is, and I love that she has just enough red, but not too much .





Name suggestions are welcome!! I want a name that reflects her personality (outgoing, monkey-ish, and/or sweet) and is girly enough so that you can tell she's a girl by just hearing her name. Unisex names are good too, or even names that aren't "human" (like Kiwi).

Thanks guys!! I really love how her yellow reaches all the way up her chest and how saturated all of her colors are . She's one of the prettiest pineapples I've seen, but of course I could be biased .

It's like the baby booming pineapples! Everdusk are you getting a pineapple too? Or a different mutation? And when!! I love when we get new additions on here because I love seeing all the pictures. You must be so excited!

Nope, the difference between cinnamons and pineapples are that cinnamons have a light green, almost lime green under their wings, and pineapples have yellow. She's definitely bright yellow to me! I used to think they were differentiated by the amount of red on their bellies but then I looked it up because I saw a bunch of "pineapples" with very little red, and I found out that it was actually the color under their wings .
