I'd never heard of half-moon conures until I saw her at the bird store; apparently they're a little bit challenging to breed.

Oh I love half moons one of my favorite conures! They aren't seen very much anymore! If I may ask where did you get her from? Unfortunately, all conures are loud but I think there personalities outweight their loudness!

I got her from a nice little bird store in Southern California. They hand-raise their birds themselves but I don't think they breed their own conures, so I couldn't say I know who breeds half-moons here.

Taquito is adorable! Does he say any words/mimic noises? Noodle has picked up a lot of words and sounds (kissy noises, microwave beeping) over the past few years.

They are pretty small! I'd say similar in size to GCC's, maybe a tiny bit stockier. Their tails are shorter than GCC's.
