Getting my GCC to step up

hey guys i was wondering if you have any tips for me to get my green cheek to step up onto my finger...i have always used a sleeve because she does not like going onto my finger...she will bite pretty hard and its not something i like to hapen every time...if i get her to step up onto my finger or hand...i will be able to wear a tshirt instead of a sweater so she doesnt bite me...any tips? let me know thanks

What treats does she like. You can try to offer your finger with the step up command & have a treat or toy in your other hand, usually they will bypass the nip to get to the toy or treat but you must be consistant. If she looks like she is going to nip tell her "no be gentle". Some also use a stick & the step up command.

Exactly what Pedro says. Reinforce with a tasty treat and she will be stepping up in no time. This also helps build trust = )
