RIP Constantine: Jenday Conure
So Tuesday night, we got a new Conure in at the store. Sucker that I am, I went in to meet it. BIIIIIIG mistake. It's a little sun conure (looks like a Jenday still lol) and my coworkers have decided she's a girl and have named her Sweet Pea. I've never been attracted to SC because they have so much yellow but this little "girl" has stolen the other half of my heart. She's not even tame but she follows me around her cage, begs for sunflower seeds and does the head bobbing when I come close.

I doubt my uncle will let me bring home another parrot and I don't have the funds but I'd like to know what it takes to add another parrot to your home?

i'd imagine space for another cage, being the most important, for quarantine and incase the birds do not get on! an awww shame as the little birdies sounds so ready to go home with you

It's hard to say what will happen until you actually bring it home. My Nanday was very jealous when I first brought my BC home. And she would get angry when my sister's bird came to stay the weekend.

Then my BC passed away and she was getting pretty depressed. I brought home an amazon buddy for her and she was immediately back to normal and happy to have him here.

So your bird may be happy to have a friend or it may take some time.

My Nanday was always jealous and still is though when I'm playing attention to the other bird.
