Chewy ~ 3 year old green cheek conure

Toki ~ 2 year old Budgie
My boyfriend decided to give us a bit of a treat tonight and made nice sandwiches chewy demanded to have some and he kept picking out the cheese. The silly little bird has gourmet taste he loves havarti cheese and keeps demanding more. I got him a bunch of organic dried fruit he wont touch it he just wants more cheese

Just remember not to give him too much cheese, it will upset his tummy. They don't process it easily. Small amounts on occasion is fine though.

Why is havarti different than other cheese?

I love havarti, btw. The bird has good taste in cheese.

Im not sure why it is different in the sense of being ok for birds.

It is a very good cheese and he does have very sophisticated tastes thats for sure.

I am actually very lucky my boyfriend is an amazing cook and does most of the cooking for me. I like to cook as well but for the past few months and the next few as well i am on doctor ordered bed rest to avoid aggrivating my spinal condition which i am waiting on surgery for. So he has been doing everything i think my daughter has forgotten that she even has a mom since dad has been doing it all but its good she can see that men are able to do stuff with kids and they can cook and in a lot of cases are quite good at it :D
