What are the cockatiels worth? Around here GCCs sell for around $250 so that sounds about right to me as far as a trade goes. Is the GCC young and healthy?

River's breeder sells baby cockatiels for about $80 each. (So 3 of them $240). A yellow sided green cheek she sells for about $175.

I would say so, around here, there are oodles of free cockatiels, most breeders don't seem to be interested in trades for tiels either. If you are looking for a gcc and you know the babies will be taken care of I would go for it :)

I was in Petsmart just last night while my dog was being groom and they had 'tiels in there for $95.00 each and a GCC for $349 so yes I would say its a great deal.

It's a good deal if you want the GCC. If not, try to sell the 'tiels. Only you can decide if it's a good deal or not. Based only on price, it seems to be a good trade. But, there are more important things in play here than money value. I hope you understand what I mean.

It all depends on your cockatiels... Did you handraise them? Are they as tame as a hand raised cockatiel should be... Are they weaned onto pellets, fruit and vegetables?

What about the Conure? How old is it? Why do they want to swap? Is it a male or a female?

Never mind... I would have too many questions...

gcc conure is male, haven't seen any pics, but he says its proven. The cockatiels are weaned on pellets and fruits and veggies not handraised. They are parent raised. The gcc is also not handfed. The conure is about 2 years old. He says he is a breeder.
