If I remember right, warm feet mean you have a content bird, right? Can someone verify this?

Luna's feet will get really warm sometimes. How do I know if she's content or just expelling heat?

In the case of Ralph, my Quaker parrot, his feet get noticeably warmer a short time before he poops. :)

When my boys are sitting on my hand and relax or are falling asleep, their feet get warm.
I've heard they get warm when they're ready to poop, but my guys can poop with cold feet too....

Thank you for responding! The relaxing thing would make sense. It usually happens with my GCC when she's cuddly. :)

I have also noticed the same, because often i will pick up a baby to feed & their feet are really hot & other times very cool. But it doesn't coinside with pooping. Not to sure about the contentment either. It can happen at anytime.

I used to worry they had a temp. but ruled that out.
