I have a green cheek just hatched a few weeks ago. A friend of mine raises them. She's so sweet in giving me one. But I'm really not being patient. LOL She sent me pictures of him still bare. That made me even more excited to get him. I have his cage ready and waiting for him. The only thing I have yet is his name. My youngest said to name him "Booger" cause he's going to be all green. YUCK! LOL I wish I knew how to post pictures up here. I would love for all of you to see him. (Not sexed, I'm just calling it a him) But I'm so excited to hold him. I went down near her a week ago but being it was the holidays I didn't get to stop. :( I'm hoping to take the 2 hour trip again in a few weeks. Maybe then he will be old enough to bring home. :)

As spiritbird said, how long until he is ready to come home?
I know the feeling though, i have been waiting for the last month and a half for my first bird to be ready to come home! it does go quick though and he will be home before you know it!

RIP Constantine: Jenday Conure
He's adorable!!!

I, too, am waiting for a parrot (my second one) and even though I only have a week or so left, it's hard to sit around. I still have to come up with a different name because Soleil just doesn't seem to cut it anymore.

Thank you guys! I'm having the hardest time coming up with a name. I haven't had him sexed yet. I found out that in case he get's sick I will want to know what might need to be done by knowing his sex. So I will be getting that done as soon as I bring him home. Joe and I will be going down next Tuesday to see him. I just can't wait. LOL I plan on snuggling him so much that he will miss me until I see him again. :)
