Sprite the cinnamon green cheek conure.
Sprite is doing great!!! He is still terrified of his harness -_- i was hoping he could get used to it by the summer; guess not...
Anyway, today we went to the vet, his second vet appointment with me (probably in his life too!) SO, he got his wings clipped and his nails filed. I felt really bad about getting his wings clipped because he has been getting used to flying. Today he tried to fly and fell...I feel bad but the vet said that he gets tons of calls about birds that flew away and he doesn't want it to happen to me...So Sprite was a REALLY good boy (not sure if hes a boy just a guess :p) He was nice to the vet and he didn't bite, even when he was toweled, he just squawked a little. I love him soo much :rainbow1:

I've also got a quick question. Right after the vet weighed him and gave him back to me, he started bobbing his head in the way he does when I get home and hes all excited. What do you think he was thinking?? All that was happening was that I was sitting on the bench and the vet was talking to me...and I was holding him...

He was just happy! Maybe he was happy about his weight :p

Personally I'm not a fan of clipping, for safety reasons + personal ones too! But don't feel bad about it, he'll learn his limits soon enough. I think I missed your posts saying you got him? If you haven't posted pictures already, please post >: D

What was his weight? Maxx is either 65g or 66g every time I weigh him, which is once a month.

It was 60, the vet said that is fine. I think for a GCC is 60-80. Maybe he was happy about his weight xD
