Nanday conure questions

Is there a cutoff when it comes to training them, or is it possible to train an older one?

How is their noise level?

Any other helpful tips?

We are looking at taking in a nanday conure who isnt tame and needs a home.

My nanday's call is very loud - could crack rocks BUT he only does it when he's waking up and when he's going to bed. I know you can train an older bird because mine is 5 and I have already taught him new things in our week together (IE new rules, expectations). He felt he had a right to everyone's shoulder, but is learning to only come when invited. Nanday's are known for adapting quickly to a new environment, so that is good news!
