head banging

So Roco will bang his beak against his cage sometime, any idea why? He just started doing it as I was talking to him. Any info at all would be helpful.

My cockatiels do it all the time. I think it might be something they do to grab our attention.

lol, he had my attention right then! all though i was blowing lightly on him, so maybe it was to tell me to stop it?

Sully does it if I am talking to one of my other birds but he stops when I talk to him, he is an attention hog.lol.:p

Cricket - an American Budgie
Bob has done it to me. From my research before getting Bob it is a common behavior in parrots, and it is a signal to everyone near by that what they are banging belongs to them.
