I know Teflon is bad, (and Im pretty sure we dont have any anyway) but ive also heard candles, perfume and most other smelling cleaning things and stuff are bad for birds. Is that true? Because we use candles and perfume a lot. I was wondering if its true that all those are bad and if they are, are there any that ARENT bad for birds?

Also, do hair blowers, and stuff like that have teflon? How can you tell if something has teflon?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, just dont want to kill any animals!

Scented candles are bad as well as perfumes and air fresheners . I do use one air freshener called zero odor but only when my birds are not around. it is a spray not and aerosol. I use to love wearing perfume but gave it up . it's just not worth the risk. you can Usually tell if your hair dryer or curling iron has teflon or not by looking at it. I use ceramic irons and my blow dryer is teflon free as well.

Can you use them in a different room or on yourself?
