Is this normal??!

My yellow sided conure who is 3 months old ( born Aug 1,2012). Is talking already! He just started this week! He says pretty bird, nite nite, uhoh... It's so awesome! He even turns when I say turn around, gives kisses on command, and high fives... He also loves to bite;( hard....

Hold on I am confused.....

He was born Aug 1, 2012, today's date is 21 July 2012..... He must have been born 1 April 2012....... LoL you are sure excited, and you should be.

Many many birds begin talking early, depends how eager the bird is, and how often he is spoken to.

Keep up the good work... keep talking and talking and talking.

So jealous!.... With Jules, not 1 word and I talk to her all the time lol. You would think she would at least say "Jules, no biting" ha ha

That's very impressive! You must be so proud of your bird. Did you actively teach him or did he just pick it up on his own? I am rightfully jealous!

I have a sun conure, hatched 4/10, who is much the same but yours seems to be talking better. Kiyomi says "mama" and "step up" and laughs "ha-ha-ha". She will step up when told to and usually steps down when I say down. She gives kisses, but just when she feels like it. I am going to start on some tricks with her. She already rolls on her back on my lap when she wants to play so I think we will start with "roll over".

Is this normal??!
