I'm returning on a road trip and would like to visit an aviary somewhere. Anyone know of any between Texas (already into Oklahoma) and Wisconsin? I found Feathered Frenzy Aviary in Illinois with a quick google search, has anyone been to this one?

I'm willing to go a little out of my way, so all suggestions are welcome, I've never been to an aviary before and would be really excited to visit one.

I found a little house ran aviary in st louis and met my first african grey! First thing she does is bite me :( didnt draw blood but she got the meaty part between my thunb and forefinger and its still sore. It was a big shock compared to the little gcc nibbles that im used to.

On a good note, i found a very nice bird store called Varietees that had a large selection of birds and had a nice open play area that they had some of their birds out to meet the customers. Much better than pet scores that leave all the birds locked up. They breed and hand feed the babies there in the store. I got to see all the babies fed while i was there. I would recommend the store if you live in the st louis area, even if youre not looking to buy, it was a fun visit.

I wish i took pictures for you guys.

I have one more stop in Chicago and ill let you know how it goes

Sorry for your hand! If I got bit by a grey I would think that GCCs were a massage or something LOL! But imagine if you met a macaw! I don't wanna think about it...
Aw, I've never seen bird babies! It's a shame. :( They seem so cute!
