Unwell sunconure or something in her nose!?

Well I guess if you have a vet appointment setup already they will be able to tell you best. It's hard for any of to tell. If her nose is wet and runny or bubbly then you are dealing with something that will need a vets attention. I hope everything will turn out okay.

If the nasal discharge was clear it's most probably just water! It's only when it gets colourful and bubbly that you need to be worried, but yeah, vet will take your concerns away!

I just learned from Pritti's avian-only vet that birds have allergies just like humans. Pritti went in for check-up and I told vet he had a sneezing period for about 3 weeks, with a clogged sound in his nostril, pulling it with nail, etc. I monitored him like a hawk (pardon the pun) and knew he wasn't sick. It had stopped by the time of the check-up. Vet said was probably allergies. Pritti's had a few bouts in past with respiratory illnesses, and I can read the signs when he's sick -- this was different -- same energy, etc. as always, but lots of spray coming out of nostril with the sneezes. Interestingly, we had been doing a lot of packing in the house (readying for a move) and there was probably lots of dust moving around that I hadn't thought about or planned for -- so I have to think that could have been part of it. So, I would say to keep track of your birdie's energy level, eating/drinking, etc. and jot down what seems different for the vet but, if you think it could be an illness, you might want to consider moving up the appointment to asap.
