Largo - 3 month old Green Cheek Conure
Largo was Brilliant over the weekend and I even managed to teach him a trick. Yesterday and Today he has been pretty unwilling to come out of his cage and even when he has, he doesn't seem to want anyone to come near him. Also, he's looking pretty dirty and I have tried spraying him with a mister bottle and providing him with a shallow basin of water but he just wont bathe.

I took him out for 45 minutes there and he's now just back in his cage chirping to himself and clicking his beak - it's almost as if he's got the hiccups apart from the beak grinding. Is this normal or should I be worried?

American Bulldog Mix,
I'm not sure if I'm seeing this right but when he is happy he clicks his beak? I know Erin will stretch her mouth open repeatedly when happy and it makes a clickin noise like she is popping her jaw. Is that what you're referring to?

Mine make a little grinding sound with their beaks when they are content and happy. Also, my TAG did not like to bath at first .... and still is not wild about it , but he will take one about twice a week now , so that's better than nothing : )

Lol I swear he knows when I'm talking to people about him. Since posting this morning he has dunked himself in his water bowl twice and been super cuddly. I swear he does it to spite me :D
