handling advice?

I have an eleven week old yellow sided gcc that is completely unable to be handled..
I keep trying with gloves but he panics and i cant hold him very long.
He bites nonstop also..
does anybody have any advice?
How can I start handling him easier???
or is it just going to require time and repetition?
all he ever wants to do is hide in his happy hut.. should I remove it?

I'd remove the happy hut. I'd also let him spend time in the cage and just stand near it with the door open. You need to be patient until he wants to come to you, not the other way around.

May I ask why you are using gloves in the first place? He is scared of the gloves so of coarce he won't want to be held by them.
Take the gloves off and just hold him with your hands, but don't grab him, let him stepup on your hand.
He may bite you but you just have to train it out of him not wear gloves.

huh..well that worked pretty well! I let him jump out of his cage and followed him for a bit, picking him up with my bare hands every time he jump away, didnt even get bit!

sorry i might be to late to help but i noticed that sleep huts can become a birds ''nest'' like in the wild so he will probably like to stay in it and be a little more aggressive when you try to take him from it !

First off he's 11 weeks old his bite isn't that bad, instead of gloves use a wash cloth or hand towel careful not to put too much pressure on his chest as they can't breathe if you do but hold just above the shoulders and pet his head and give him scratches until he calms down then loosen your hold and let him work himself out to stand on your hand then your hand becomes better than that towel so given the option he will step up on the hand.

I agree. No gloves. Use dowels, wooden spoons. Etc. also he is so happy in his hut he prolly is thinking he don't need you. Take it out like said before. And patience! Babies need lots of patience. Good luck!

The main reason I've been using gloves is because when we got Loki at the petshop, my bf and I left with tons of deep cuts from trying to get him out of the cage.

Sooo.. weirdest thing ever. yesterday I've been coercing him out of the cage by getting him to jump out of the cage door, once on the ground i would follow him repeatedly picking him up. I was holding him in my hand next to my pineapple gcc conure that was perched on my boyfriends hand and he seemed very interested but panicked and flew onto a shelve, once on the shelf I offered him a finger to perch on and sure as sh*t he just stepped right onto my finger and perched for half an hour!! he let me flip him onto his back in my palm! lots of belly rubs and wing scratches!

I've had the weirdest luck with both of my conures. my pineapple Button one day just started stepping up on her own, next day shes talking, she doesnt potty when shes on people, and she never had any problem with her flight suit.
