Yep, AD you know what those are ... and if you come to Boston for Grad School I can show you where you can see them, they'll be like 45 minutes from you!

:50:

P.S. Yes, those are my hands!

Yes those are golden or queen of bavaria conures. Truly the cadillac of conures. With personalities to match their looks. Absolutely beautiful. Anybody know the average price of these beauties? Its been at least ten years since I spoke with anyone raising them and back then they were going for about $4,000 each. Worth every penny from what I'm told.

Yes, those ARE the Cadillac of conures, yes they are still very expensive, and YES they are worth every penny ... probably have the best personalities of all the conures, but also come with major plucking issues ... if you look at the chest of the older one in the back you can see that she has started to pluck herself ... it has gotten worse since this picture was take, but has gotten a little bit better since it got worse, if that makes sense ...

Yes that makes sense. Shame about the plucking but with smart birds you get behavior issues. I have never had one of these guys but they've always been on my lottery list:D

All I can remember about these birds is that they are extremely endangered, but definitely believe that they have wonderful personalities.
