Poop concerns

So thankfully my baby has finally calmed down and stopped biting, he is enjoying scratches and cuddling as well :)

I am concerned with the consistency of his feces though. In the morning he leaves behind a very large, pretty normal looking poop. Throughout the day though, it seems like they get more and more watery. The solid greed/brown portion is always there, but there is a lot of the clear watery portion. Sometimes so much that the white part is mostly diluted and barely visible. Now, when we are told to watch for watery poop, should we be concerned with the already watery portion, or should we be concerned if the green/solid portion begins to get watery? He was eating a seed mix but now is warming up to Harrison pellets. He has been eating purple figs from our tree, so would that be the reason for so much extra urine? In the past 2 that Ive seen, there was no white portion at all, just the green wormy part, and a bunch of water. I can even see the dried old ones on the paper, all of the liquid soaked up and only the solid part is left... no white at all. Would you be concerned? He saw the vet that I work for the other day and after a visual inspection he said the bird seemed healthy.. but no blood/feces tests were done.

Sometimes my birds have had more water in the dropping from fruit or high water content foods.
Did you bring a dropping with you to the vet (or did he poop while he was there?)
My vet usually says to bring one.

No I didnt bring one. I just brought him there as a sort of first time visit to make sure he was a healthy weight and looked generally ok. I work there and the doctor just told me to bring him by for a check up after I bought him.

That depends entirely on the droppings.

Usually, as long as the feces are formed, it's alright what the rest looks like as long as it appears normal. Higher water consumption and stress can lead to more watery droppings. Also, pellets may make the droppings more watery/less formed if the bird needs to drink more water due to the lack of moister in the pellets.

My birds poop changes throughout the day, and does get more watery, depending on what she has been eating. Like the others have said food with more of a watery content def changes her poops, grapes seem the 'worst' but then things go back to normal. Good luck!

American Bulldog Mix,
Depending on how much he has been eating or drinking it will change through out the day. For some odd reason Erin takes about 5 completely clear poops after getting out of the shower, like she absorbed the water or something lol. Also changing of the diet will def. cause this, along with new foods
