Cody-Blu, female Blue-Crowned Conure, Hatched - (approx) June 1, 2014, in a South Florida tree.

Pritti (Cherry-Head Conure) -- Fly in Peace my beautiful boy. Forever I'll love you.
Just wondering what your experiences are with this. I googled and googled and could not find anything for adult birds cropy emptying rate (lots of babies though).

I know it will vary widely, but curious what range you think (such as 4 - 8 hours, etc.) and the size of the conure (such as small, med, large).

Fact is, I'm not actually sure. I know that Pritti's is always empty in the morning. But on average, I'd say about 8 hours (give or take an hour or so).

Pritti is a medium size conure (cherry-head), male, 30 yrs. old.

Adult birds tends to 'graze', and not get a full crop, like babies do..

If your elderly bird has a full crop that won't empty, I would take him to an avian vet...
