Is she a pineapple or a cinnamon?

I'm starting to think my pineapple is a cinnamon... she dulled over the summer and even at her most colorful, she was still dull compared to the cinnamons i see

Pineapple GCC--still unnamed!
She looks very much like a cinnamon in the first pic, and a little less in the second...but if you were to ask me to pick one, I'd pick cinnamon! Beautiful little girl you have there :D

Rosie = Rescued Pineapple GCC,
Rusty = bought Cinnamon GCC,
Scooter = bought Normal GCC,
Tybbi MacGuyver = Rescued Blue Crown Conure
The colors appear duller, and with Pineapples the reds often extend farther upward... t especially next to the Yellow-Sided on the right...

I too would say Cinnamon.

she looks like a young pineapple going through that dull stage that confuses people lol My cinnamon went through a dull phase that was so dull and dark I wondered if he was cinnamon and thought perhaps he was going to turn into a normal bird (not rational, but funny :p)
You also need to remember quality varies and you arent going to get a top of the line pineapple with red like the one bellow, people will keep them on for breeding :p
A pineapple has a yellow-green belly sometimes with increased red (but not always) the main point being that the red will be brighter instead of very dark almost crimson colour. The tail feathers are brighter as well apparently. I had a cinnamon and he was no where near as bright as you bird is in these photos.

This was my cinnamon, Kermit <3

I'd love to know more about this "dull phase", thingamagigs. I've been wondering about this since I've heard many people allude to it. How long does it last, and when does it happen? I have a 4 month old pineapple (that I originally thought was yellow sided until I knew more about GCC colors & people on this board set me straight :D) she should be going through her first molt in not too long. She doesn't have quite so much red as in those pictures--really, the only pineapples I've seen with that much red have been from that site.

Im not exactly sure :D There isnt any reliable info but I know it took almost a year for my cinnamon to colour back up again. I felt ripped off at the time LOL

Sorry to say the pics. u posted r not good quality and I would not feel safe saying it is 1 or the other sorry. As far as coloring of any "mutation" or color they come in all stages. They have high red yellowsideds and pineapples so they have more red then normal yellowside or pineapples they also started high yellow yellowsides and pineapples and they have more yellow then normal yellowside or pineapples. So they can all look different.

My vote goes to pineapple as well, due to the amount of yellow in the breast feathers which is not typical of cinnamons.
