I have a Sun Conure that is about eight months old, and recently he has been trying to bite my nails. It began as picking then escalated to biting and began to hurt. I try to get him to stop by telling him "no biting" and putting him in his cage for a few minutes but it has not stopped. Every so often he will bite my skin a bit but not as much as my nails, and this has only began about two weeks ago. I know it is biting because it hurts and if I let him continue to do it, he would more than likely break the skin. He is my I have had three cockatiels, and two Quaker Parrots, none of them (thankfully) were biters. I am pretty much at a loss here and don't know what to do. Any ideas?
