Lost my female sun conure

I had a beautiful pair of sun conures (3 years old)....
I just lost my female "Tennille" this Thurs....
My male "Captain" is grieving.....What to do?
Should I try to get another female? I feel so sorry for him and I am grieving myself over my Tennille.....

I can just imagine how you and Captain are feeling

Was Tennille ill?
Is Captain being himself,not showing any signs of an illness?
If so, first find out what the illness was, before getting another bird.

I wouldn't rush out to replace your female. Your boy needs time to grieve. You may find he becomes much closer to you. There is no guarantee he will get on with a new female but its more likely with time. I am so sorry for you x

So sorry for your loss. I lost mine in October and it was horrible. What did she die from? I would give yourself and Captain some time before bringing home another female.
