Please help me. I hope this is ok to post on here. I have a Green Check Conure that I have had for 6 years and love dearly but he deserves a better home. We now have two children (which he is afraid of) and 3 cats. When we first got him we only had one cat that lived outside and no kids. Therefore he got all the attention he deserved. Now he doesn't get any attention and screams inorder to get some. We live in a little house and the screaming wakes the babies up. Please give me any advice that you can on how to find the best most loving home for him. Thank you very much for your time. I am just lost on where to turn.

If you are just looking for a good home you can put a very low price tag on him, advertise, then you get to be picky about who you give him to. Just because someone offers to pay doesn't mean you have to accept the deal.
Where do you live? There are a number of parrot "rescues" as well.
