I have a 6 week old pineapple GCC named Pippin.
I have a almost 5 week old pineapple GCC. He is still being hand fed right now and doesn't have much balance.
At what age should I start potty training? Also, if anybody has any experience, tips would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

The biggest thing I cannot stress enough is to not use food rewards. Some birds will hold their poop so long they may get infections.

I say poop every time Rosie goes poop, and she recognizes the word. When She goes poop were I want her to go poop I cheer and dance around to make Rosie really happy and excited. When I notice her acting like she might poop I put her were I want her to go poop.

I did the same mentioned above. The first few days I would return her to the cage about every 15 mins. When she pooped I'd say "go potty". After a few days of that I held her over a tissue or napkin at the same intervals till she went & I'd say "go potty" with lots of praise & kisses. Then after a few days of that I could hold her over the tissue & say it & she would go immediately ( if she had to go) Its neat when you see them get it. I also still praise her for going poop in or on her cage so that she wouldn't feel the need to hold it just for me. I've heard that can happen. Good luck!
