Good evening! Our GCC loves to "groom" us. Is this normal?
I have never had birds before and this seems like what he is doing. He sits on my shoulder and nibbles at my ears.:rolleyes:

Yep, that's what he's doing. It's an incredible experience isn't it... I couldn't imagine ever being able to explain how relaxing it is to someone who is not owned by a bird.

Do be careful though, if he gets used to that spot and is ever in a bad mood you could get a fresh ear-piercing pretty quick. I've had that happen and Auggie lost shoulder privileges for some time.
